General DescriptionThe super-cardioid MKH 50 offers a higher attenuation of diffusefield and lateral sound than the cardioid microphone. It is principally designed for use as a soloist’s or spot microphone for applications requiring a high degree of side-borne sound muting and feedback rejection. The directional characteristics are frequency-independent.FeaturesHigh rejection of lateral soundsExceptionally low inherent self-noiseTransformerless and fully floating balanced outputSymmetrical transducer technology ensures extremely low distortionSwitchable roll-off filter to compensate for proximity effects at a distance of approx. 0.5 mSwitchable pre-attenuationBlack, anodised light metal bodyDelivery Includes1 MKH 50,1 MZS 40 shock mount,1 MZW 41 windshieldTechnical DataTransducer principle (Microphone) RF condenser microphonePick-up pattern super-cardioidFrequency response (microphone) 40…..20000 HzSensitivity in free field, no load (1kHz) 25 (8) mV/Pa +- 1 dBNominal impedance 150 OhmMin. terminating impedance 1000 OhmEquivalent noise level 12 (18) dBEquivalent noise level weighted as per CCIR 468-3 21 (27) dBMaximum sound pressure level (passiv) 134 (142) dB / 1 kHzBattery Specification 48 +- 4 V PhantomCurrent consumption 2 mADimensions d 25 x 153 mm
